Located in Darwin, this project highlights ICP’s expertise as a climbing wall builder and demonstrates our ability to create world-class spaces tailored to local communities.

Gecko Climbing worked with ICP for a full custom climbing wall design package. Our design team developed a layout that blends rope walls, bouldering walls, and social space into a cohesive facility. Each wall was manufactured at our factory, from concept sketches to final build, the project showcases the creative strength of ICP’s climbing wall manufacturer process.

Rope Walls and Rope Mats

The facility includes modern ICP Rope Walls, engineered for both lead climbing and top rope. Each rope wall was paired with rope mats designed to match the facility’s layout. These mats provide essential fall protection while enhancing the gym’s clean aesthetic. Together, the rope climbing zone gives climbers in Darwin a safe and professional environment for training and progression.

Bouldering Walls and Boulder Mats

ICP delivered a full suite of bouldering walls, built with engaging angles and a variety of textures to support all climbing styles. To ensure safety, ICP installed custom bouldering mats fitted to the walls and floor plan. These mats combine comfort, protection, and longevity, making them ideal for high-traffic climbing gyms.

ICP Volumes for Creative Route Setting

To expand route-setting potential, Gecko Climbing features a range of ICP Volumes. Designed to integrate seamlessly with ICP Walls via the ICP Raps™ system, these volumes extend climbing surfaces across wall transitions and unlock creative new hold placements. Setters at Gecko Climbing now have the tools to design problems that challenge beginners and experts alike.
