Facility Manager

Full time Position – Fortitude Valley, QLD

Are you passionate about climbing and ready to take the lead in an exciting and dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Facility Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our bouldering facility.

Qualifications:

• Experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality industries.
• Proven ability to manage teams and inspire a positive work culture.
• Experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and operational budgets.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card qualifications (or a willingness to obtain them).
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of passionate individuals, fostering a positive work environment and continuous improvement.
• Cultivate relationships within the climbing community, promoting engagement and loyalty.
• Drive membership growth by implementing strategies for acquisition, conversion, and retention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for climbers of all levels.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure the facility is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Oversee special events, new program launches, and renovations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor operational budgets and work to achieve financial goals.
