Message from the Architect:
World Gym, a premier fitness centre in Australia, has expanded its array of training options to include climbing. As motivated individuals, the mission statement at World Gym is to help motivated people reach their goals with an intelligent approach to fitness.
At ICP we provided World Gym with a climbing wall that was intelligently designed, with the goal of helping individuals incorporate climbing into their daily training regimen. The rope wall, which was fitted with auto belay systems, was designed to make climbing training more accessible to anyone seeking a solo workout session.
The design is simple, offering up a variety of gentle angles and geometry. A perfect canvas for route setting. The paintwork was inspired by the World Gym colour style guide so it complements the space and has a sense of belonging.
