Message from the Architect:

“Jungle Adventure is one of Australia’s leading indoor activity centres.

When they approached us to help them re-invent a section of their facility we jumped at the opportunity to help contribute to climbing’s popularity as an indoor activity for kids. To complement Jungle Adventure’s greenery and natural theme, we focused on creating climbing walls that were not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

The design features two boulder traverse islands that stand alone, with one island having a slide installed inside it for kids to climb up into. The paintwork was inspired by Jungle Adventure’s company colours and natural look, ensuring that our design matches the play centre’s overall aesthetic.

We also developed a parkour system that doubles as volumes when attached to the wall. This system offers a range of new and fresh obstacle courses for kids to explore. It can also be stacked or placed in various configurations, adding geometry to the climbs when attached to the bouldering walls. Overall, our design perfectly matches Jungle Adventure’s existing features and helps to promote climbing as an indoor activity for kids.”
